Jonathan wanted a guitar... he wasn't exactly sure as to what type of guitar he wanted, but asked for some initial guidance and after digging into my wood pile - I came across atop set I had purchased a few years ago. This was an unusually bookmatched set of dye-infused Sycamore that had the most amazing colors and Jonathan fell in love with the set immediately! We went on to talk about the inlays and he has been a big fan of a video game called "Death Stranding" which features Norman Reedus, the same actor from "The Walking Dead" and he has "X's" tatooed on his hands, hence the X's inlaid on the fingerboard and I even acquired the font that they used for Death Stranding and made a custom anagrammed trussrod cover for Jonathan. This guitar has some amazing tonal possibilities and I'm looking forward to hear Jonathan take these tones to the stars! Photography by Jeff Fay
